Your time commitment
The Tableau Certified Data Analyst Exam Readiness Course is a rigorous, 90-day experience. Students should expect to spend between five and ten hours a week preparing for their exams.
Recommended prior learning
Students are more likely to succeed on the exam if they have at least six months’ Tableau experience before they take it, so we recommend understanding Tableau Fundamentals before you begin.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card payments. Purchase orders are not accepted at this time.
Can I purchase this bundle for multiple people?
Yes. During the registration process, you can add multiple people and pay with a credit card for all individuals at one time.
I did not receive confirmation of my order. Did my order go through?
Upon purchase, you will see a confirmation page for your order and receive an email from the Tableau Software Training Team confirming your purchase. Be sure to check the ‘Junk’ or ‘Spam’ folders in your email. If you still cannot find your confirmation, submit a case through Trailhead Help and include the following information: your name, email address used for purchase, and date of purchase.
What is the cancellation policy?
Since your course is available to you immediately upon purchase, you will be unable to cancel your course. Read our standard course cancellation for more information on our cancellation policies. This course is also bound by the Tableau EULA.
Can I purchase now and start later?
No. If you purchase after November 29, 2021 your access period to the content will start immediately upon purchase, so we recommend you get started right away.
Do I need Tableau Desktop to complete the course content?
You will receive an email with an extended Tableau Desktop + Prep trial license. If you already have Tableau Desktop + Prep, you’re all set
Where should I direct content questions?
Many questions will be covered in the recorded orientation session available to you at any time. Content questions can also be dropped into the community forum you will receive access to. Submitting a case through Trailhead Help is best for questions about purchasing and registration.
Certification
When will I receive my exam voucher?
Everyone that purchases Tableau Certified Data Analyst Exam Readiness will receive their exam voucher in next 48 hours via email. You will have 90-days to complete both exam attempts when the voucher is issued.
How many attempts at the exam will I get?
With your purchase of Tableau Certified Data Analyst Exam Readiness, you will receive two exam attempts. The second attempt is only available upon failure of the first.
What if I am on a waiting period for taking another certification exam?
Depending on how many times you’ve attempted the exam, there may be a mandatory waiting period before attempting it again. If you are currently on a waiting period, know that you are unable to schedule your next exam attempt until after the waiting period has passed. You can find waiting period details here.
