Tableau User Group Japan

Find your community within the Community.

Want support and inspiration from peers across regions, industries, roles, affiliations, or other areas of interest? Tableau User Groups (TUGs) are inclusive meetup events where you can connect, learn and discuss all things data. Because TUGs are completely community-led, the skills you learn, the people you meet, and the time you invest are all up to you.

Grow together through Community

There’s more than one way to participate in a Tableau User Group. You choose what you put in and what you hope to get out. Here are some common roles you can take.

"It's great to see people connect, relate to, and learn from each other. As a leader it's rewarding to know you brought people together to do that."

Common questions

Are User Groups virtual or in-person?

Both! While some TUGs have options for local, in-person gatherings, others are staying with the online format to better serve a global user base. Can’t decide? We have hybrid TUGs, too.

Can I sign up for more than one?

Yes. Join any TUG that you identify with. Industry, region, and affiliations are great places to start.

What is the time commitment?

Participation is completely self-driven based on how many TUGs you choose to join and what role you take.

Are there any resources I can use to start an internal user group at my organization?

The Internal User Group Toolkit shares a sample agenda and tips to start making connections and sharing perspectives in your own company.
